The Kingdom of Glass

Words, like glass, are easily broken when the right amount of force is exerted, but he tries to build on them anyway.

There’s a statue and a child who are keeping him from digging too deep into the ground where even nature wouldn’t dare to touch, but despite their sweet words he’s not quite ready to let go and start flying for himself.

In the space of a single day, he becomes glass, too rigid to take risks and easily broken. However, there are those who won’t let him fall, and so he shamelessly borrows their wings and allows them to take him to a new home.
