Stolen Treasure

He’s a little disturbed that he can see things that others can’t, but there are worse things he could have been gifted with. There’s not much bliss that comes with knowledge, but at least he’ll always have something to teach those around him as long as they’re willing to see what he’s talking about.

There’s a boy scratching at the cracks in the floor, and while he thinks the one looking for treasure is slightly less interesting than the one burying it, he brings the matter up anyway, not for his own sake but to finally put the child’s greedy spirit to rest.
