At the Bottom

What goes up must come down, but she thinks she’s managed to prove the opposite true, too. It may feel like they’re stuck like the frog in the well, but there’s a different world to see when one humbles oneself enough to look down and around. It may not be better, but through the experience, she feels like she’s learned how to fight for the things that are truly important.

She fights now, throwing all her burdens behind her so her past can’t follow, and prays that all she’s suffered will be enough to last her until the next mistake she makes.
