The Simpleton

His mouth doesn’t run as fast as his brothers’, but in that split second of pondering, he’s labelled a fool, and dismissed from having any responsibilities or important duties.

And they help him more than he can say, because no one will let him explain, but he keeps his secrets of knowledge to himself, wondering if there’ll ever be anyone curious enough to listen.

He sighs, and figures that since it’s always been this way, he might as well stick to being comfortable, and let others believe whatever they want.
