The Bow

He’s been told that being open-hearted is a good trait to have; that many people will be attracted to such a quality, but lately, all he feels is the blood in his bones seep out from his open wounds. And rather than bringing people close, these wounds actually keep his friends away, not because they don’t care, but because they don’t know how to handle such wounds.

They may suggest medicines to take and remedies to make, but ultimately, they’re not the ones who can cure him.

He’s been reduced to a shuffling, slow and bent kind of walk, and finds himself in a place where silence is a choice rather than a state, and all he wants is to be put back together again.
