The Charmer

Her face sets in the sharp edge of a piece of flint, even though she thinks she’s the only warm body left dancing on top of the royal throne.

She’s been trying her best to charm her way through and past life’s problems, but the one currently in her way is quite a bit hotter than she can handle. She’s tried every remedy and old wives’ tale on it, but somewhere along the way, she’s forgotten the one who gave her a name and called her to love.

She’s still trying out old remedies to solve problems she can’t solve on her own, and doesn’t see the dawn of a new day until she has gotten past yesterday’s night.
