I recently had to replace my laptop’s battery, though my warranty, thankfully, expires in June. So I got a free battery, and my laptop can go travelling again!
I remember learning a little about how batteries worked in Chemistry class, and I remember that it was one of the most annoyingly simple-yet-complex concepts to grasp in the class, not only for me, but for everyone in my year. Something about electrolytes exchanging electrons or something in order to produce that flow of electricity. Maybe when I have time, I’ll look over my notes again. It’s a most fascinating principle. Maybe I’ll find it easier to learn the second time round. (Or not.)
