Did you know that money does grow on trees? At least, for the deceased they do. During ancient China, the Chinese used to make money trees to be buried in the tombs of the deceased, ensuring that they effectively will have money in the afterlife that will keep generating by itself forever and ever. It’s much more effective than burning (fake) paper money, plus it’s more environmentally friendly since it’s made out of carved metal and earthenware. And even though it is much more expensive than fake paper money, it will eventually pay for itself because with the money tree, one doesn’t have to constantly buy paper money for burning. Unless you want your ancestors to wander around broke in the afterlife.
I have just one question, though – if everyone in the afterlife had a money tree, then doesn’t the concept of money become useless?
