A lot of my paintings have a surrealist feel to them, not only because surrealism is my favourite artistic movement, but also because I believe the most revealing of things lie in the precise juxtaposition of a painting’s composition, no matter how bizarre it may seem.
I also took a course in Scientific Illustration with an emphasis in watercolour, which is always a good, basic foundation for any art practice because it deals in precision and measurements. Watercolour is also a challenging yet rewarding medium to use, and creates a vastly different feel from acrylic paint.

Great stuff, Nicola. I love the strong brush strokes in the paintings and the subtle use of color. Amazing.
