Drawing is like the foundation stones of any kind of fine art – it’s the basic building block for working in other art media. Anything from a simple doodle to the complex architectural blueprints for a building counts as a drawing, and it’s done so that something greater can stem from it, and maybe even become a part of a living, breathing reality.
I usually prefer to work with ink, as there’s something significant about not having to edit something so inherently raw in the first place. But it’s a practice that I love, no matter whether I’m using ink, pencil, or sweat mixed with blood.
