So I’ve found a wandering cat, haven’t I? Well come on in, I don’t bite. Not cats, anyway.
Hrm, a little about me. I recently received my BFA in Writing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and am aspiring to become a full-fledged writer/artist/person with some sort of career. Preferably in publishing or travel writing, because I love the smell of freshly pressed books and new places. There’s something about the scent of an airplane as well, that makes me want to peruse countries and cultures filled with stories upon stories. Or maybe it just makes me light-headed. Who knows.
Apart from perusing art inside and outside of galleries, I’m an avid classical music goer. You will find all my reviews of places I go to on this blog, which I hope can provide some good insight to the art world. Like I said, I love travelling and seeing new places.
I also have a studio practice, which I try to keep up as much as possible. I work mainly in ink and pencil drawing, and acrylic painting, although I’ve recently picked up watercolour. Check out my portfolio for a full list of all my artwork. Well, all the artwork I’m not embarrassed about.
Anyway. I will probably reveal a lot more about myself via my blogs than on this pithy page, and I also like to believe that I’m a lot more mysterious than I really am. So off you go; here’s a glass of milk, and keep on wandering: you never know what you’ll find.
